Install SharePoint 2013 on Windows Server 2012R2

It is not easy to install SharePoint for the first time, you known 🙂 I had some strange problem while I try to install SharePoint 2013 on my pre-configured Hyper-V template for Windows Server 2012R2.

Fast googling don’t help me, then I found superb article about offline installation.

Now I can create my own step-by-step instruction to help other people install SharePoint 2013 on Windows Server 2012R2 without any problem 🙂

1. Configure Windows Update Service for automatically running (from manual)
2. Insert DVD with SharePoint into virtual DVD-ROM (disk D for me)
3. Download all files from article above (see links below) and place it into the one folder (c:\SP2013 for example).

4. Run powershell script

5. Reboot Server for 2-3 times
6. The next problem was with ‘.NET 4.5 unavailable’. Official Microsoft support helped me with this article. You should download archive and extract dll into ‘updates’ folder on your SharePoint distributive.
7. That is all! Profit 🙂
